Lauren joined Regeneris in 2015. She previously worked as an Associate Director for DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) in their development consultancy team as well as heading up her own consultancy business.

Lauren has more than 20 years’ experience across all aspects of economic development. Her recent work has focused on helping to solve the productivity challenge that many local authorities, LEPs and other sub-regional bodies are facing. This has included a strong emphasis on developing the labour force and industrial sectors through a strategic response. Lauren has recently undertaken deep dive sector analysis and action planning for a number of clients including Tees Valley Combined Authority, Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Marches LEP and Cheshire and Warrington LEP. Lauren has extensive experience in developing holistic economic development strategies to realise growth aspirations, working with Local Enterprise Partnerships and local authorities to develop a robust evidence base, identify issues and opportunities, and develop a shared framework for action. Lauren also has a strong appreciation of the effectiveness of interventions, drawn from her experience in appraising projects, developing funding bids, and evaluating impact.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys running, yoga and spending time with her young family of boisterous boys in Cumbria.
