London Business Growth Partnership ERDF Evaluation

London & Partners’ Business Growth Programme is an ambitious three-year support initiative to help London-based small and medieum-sized enterprises (SMEs) break down barriers to growth and development across London.  By providing tailored support through the use of dedicated account managers, growth plans, 1-to-1 mentoring and participation in events & workshops, the programme aims to support 450 SMEs and create 150 new jobs.  The project is part funded by European Regional Development Funding (ERDF).

Hatch Regeneris has been commissioned to deliver a summative assessment for the programme, analysing project performance, reviewing project delivery and management, assessing the economic impacts for supported businesses, and identifying lessons that can be learned for future project delivery.  Our work will also involve the development of a bespoke gross value added (GVA) assessment model which London & Partners can use to estimate the net additional GVA generated by the programme on a regular basis.

This study builds on Hatch Regeneris’ extensive experience of ERDF project and programme evaluation, which included leading ex-ante evaluation and full programme evaluation scoping studies for the 2014-20 ERDF programme for England.
