Lambeth Council Publishes “West Norwood and Tulse Hill: Manual for Delivery”

We are pleased that the “West Norwood and Tulse Hill: Manual for Delivery” has been published by Lambeth Council. The report marks the culmination of a years’ worth of consultation and research led by Regeneris in partnership with a multidisciplinary team comprising BDP, AspinalVerdi and Urban Flow.

West Norwood and Tulse Hill is already one of south London’s most vibrant locations: it is home to a diverse town centre, a number of significant hubs of employment and industry, and a highly engaged and active community.

The report provides a framework for the continued positive evolution of the area, ensuring that future opportunities for economic growth and social and community involvement are realised. This includes supporting the evolution of the West Norwood Commercial Area as a hub for creative enterprise; supporting the delivery of new homes, retail and business space in the heart of the town centre; enhancing the reputation of the area as a hub for culture and heritage; and further developing the strong social capital in the area.

The research is underpinned by community feedback received via the Commonplace consultation platform. It identifies a number of new and innovative ideas and approaches to delivery which respond directly to challenges in the public sector funding landscape, and ongoing debates regarding economic and social change within London’s places.
