Stuart joined Regeneris Consulting in 2014 after completing his MSc in Urban Economic Development at University College London. Prior to joining Regeneris, Stuart worked for the Department for Education, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Department for Communities and Local Government.
Stuart has a particular interest in understanding the nuances of places, communities and local economies. He has recently worked with a wide range of clients, including LEPs, the GLA, local boroughs and community groups. He has developed particular specialisms in sector and skills strategies, evidence collection & evaluation and detailed data analysis.
Stuart has project managed several of our sector strategies in London recently, including creative industry strategies for Tottenham and Lewisham. He has extensive experience at working across London and the South East, with recent projects including the Brighton Economic Strategy, the OPDC Future Employment Growth Sectors Study and the SW Hertfordshire Economy Study. Stuart has worked with many of London’s boroughs, including work in Waltham Forest, Haringey, Enfield, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets, Brent and Redbridge.
Outside the office Stuart is a keen tennis player, playing for a local club, and enjoys hiking in the Scottish mountains.
